1. Choose Your Gathering Strategy
Unlock the basic tools for every resource, but specialise in one resource first. This gives you faster progress toward Tier 8 and lets you use matching gathering gear.

4. Gathering Trip Procedure
Before Leaving Town
- Check Destiny Board progress.
- Equip the correct gathering gear.
- Check tool durability.
- Take a cheap mount.
- Take pork pies.

- Take invisibility potions for risky routes.
- Check inventory space.
- Repair damaged equipment.
- Decide which biome and route you are using.
At the Resource Node
- Check that the area is safe before dismounting.
- Keep an escape route visible.
- Prioritise your primary resource.
- Prioritise enchanted nodes when safe.
- Stop gathering immediately if a player approaches suspiciously.
- Remount as soon as you finish gathering.
Returning to Town
- Return before becoming overloaded.
- Bank valuable materials.
- Repair tools and equipment.
- Sell or store gathered resources.
- Refill food and potions.
- Start the next trip promptly.
5. Yellow-Zone Safety
Yellow zones are suitable for learning, but flagged players can still attack you. Treat valuable gear and full inventories cautiously.
- Confirm that you are not accidentally PvP-flagged.
- Use equipment you can easily replace.
- Do not carry your entire bank.
- Watch the minimap and zone exits.
- Avoid crowded or heavily contested nodes.
- Bank regularly rather than making one huge trip.
- Leave the zone if suspicious players are repeatedly following you.
6. Preparing for Red and Black Zones
Do not move into lethal zones simply because you have unlocked a higher gathering tier. Move when you understand escape procedures and can afford losses.

- Avoid carrying your full gathering haul while doing combat content.
- Use cheap equipment when learning new zones.
10. Seven-Day Premium Plan
Day 1 — Setup
- Buy Tier 4 combat and gathering equipment.
- Buy a cheap mount, food and potions.
- Choose a bank and establish a route.
Days 2–3 — Unlock Basics
- Unlock Tier 3 and Tier 4 tools.
- Gather your primary resource consistently.
- Begin filling journals.
Days 4–5 — Push Primary Profession
- Use matching gathering gear.
- Use pork pies during serious gathering sessions.
- Use Learning Points on the primary gathering profession when appropriate.
- Work toward the next tool tier.
Days 6–7 — Improve Efficiency
- Test better yellow-zone routes.
- Gather enchanted resources when safe.
- Sell or bank resources efficiently.
- Use the final Premium session for gathering rather than shopping.

13. Gathering Profession Tabs
Track each profession separately and set one as your primary focus. Fiber remains the recommended default.
14. Dedicated Fiber-to-T8 Plan
Use this as the focused route from Tier 4 Harvester to Tier 8. Keep your Sickle current, use Learning Points deliberately, and avoid expensive loadouts until replacement is easy.
Tier 4: Build the foundation
- Equip a Tier 4 Sickle and full Tier 4 Harvester set.
- Choose one home bank and learn two repeatable swamp routes.
- Carry Fiber journals and pork pie on serious gathering trips.
- Prioritise Fiber and enchanted Fiber without overextending the route.
Tier 5: Push the primary node
- Reach the Learning Point threshold on the Fiber Harvester node.
- Use Learning Points on Fiber rather than spreading them across every profession.
- Buy the Tier 5 Sickle before luxury combat upgrades.
- Upgrade Harvester chest, then boots, then headgear.
Tier 6: Prepare for lethal zones
- Save enough silver to replace the full gathering set at least three times.
- Practise instant remounting, abandoning nodes and moving toward exits.
- Buy the Tier 6 Sickle as soon as the unlock and replacement budget allow.
- Scout red, black or Roads routes in an inexpensive set before carrying a large haul.
Tier 7 to Tier 8: Specialise
- Prioritise high-tier and enchanted Fiber where the risk is acceptable.
- Record productive zones, quiet times, exits and danger points below.
- Reach Tier 7 Fiber and obtain a replaceable Tier 7 Sickle.
- Reach Tier 8 Fiber and obtain the Tier 8 Sickle.
- Continue Fiber specialisation after T8 to improve speed and yield.
